Seaton Best Kept Garden & Container Competition |
Tuesday, 09 May 2017 00:00 |
The Council will once again be looking for Seaton’s best cultivated gardens in the summer. Nominations of friends & neighbours, as well as self-nominations, should be made to a Parish Councillor or to the Clerk.
Judging will take place in mid-July. In addition, the Council is looking for the best young green fingers in the village through the provision of a competition to grow the biggest sunflower. The Council has provided seeds, pots & growing material to Seaton’s schools so that each pupil can have a go at growing one. Last year’s winners, Cassi & Maddi Hunter, grew plants which reached 2.79 metres in height, so there’s a challenge! |
