Seaton Scarecrow Festival 2016 will run from Saturday 2 July to Saturday 16 July, with Trail Day being held on Saturday 9 July. It will be an open theme enabling people to use their initiative to the full to produce their scarecrows. There will be prizes for the top three Scarecrows plus a 'People's Choice', to be determined by participants in Trail Day.

The Festival Entry Fee will be £2, with Entry forms will be made available from 1 June from local outlets, with a closing date for entries of 18 June.
