Tuesday, 25 November 2014 00:00 |
Seaton's Christmas Lights were switched on, on Monday 1 December. The village green was lit by Christmas lights & a Christmas tree, provided by Iggesund. Around three hundred members of the public attended the switch-on event, with entertainment organised by Mr Michael Milner, including Christmas Carols sung by Seaton Choir & School Children, & mince pies & mulled wine provided by the Parish Council. The lights were switched on by Parish Councillor Cyril Woodman, ably assisted by four Seaton children selected by Mr Milner. Despite a wet forecast, the rain kindly held off until the lights were twinkling brightly! |
