Seaton in Bloom
Monday, 09 November 2020 10:35

The Seaton in Bloom Group cleared away Summer bedding in October & set out Winter plant displays. Organised by Gill Brinicombe, volunteers planted around 700 winter pansies, 500 bulbs & 50 primulas, supplied by Bank Mill Nurseries, Mawbray, in display areas around the village. There are new raised bed displays at Seaton shops, each with a centre piece Himalayan Silver Birch, a tribute to the late Lynne Hardman. The raised beds will be painted in a colour suitable to show of the displays to their best effect.

The Parish Council is extremely grateful to the In Bloom volunteers, who willingly give their time to help keep the village looking colourful, & we look forward to some brilliant displays in the Spring.
