Seaton residents were invited to nominate their favourite gardens & container displays during July & judging was carried out by Council members in the second half of the month. The winners were invited to the Parish Council meeting held on 17 September where they received their prizes & a framed certificate to commemorate their success. The winning entrants were as follows:

Best Kept Garden

• 1st Peter & Margaret Watson, Barncroft Avenue
• 2nd George & Pat Scott, Kings Avenue
• 3rd Karen Watson, Lowca Lane

Best Container Displays

• 1st John & Christine Sharp, Meadow Vale
• 2nd Jill Hutton, Whitestiles
• 3rd Lynne Hardman, Causeway Road
• 3rd John & Catherine Hodgson, Whitestiles
