Seaton Scarecrow Festival 2017

Seaton Scarecrow Festival 2017 will run from Saturday 1 July to Saturday 15 July, with Trail Day being held on Saturday 8 July. It will be an open theme enabling people to use their initiative to the full to produce their scarecrows. There will be prizes for the top three Scarecrows plus a ‘People’s Choice’, to be determined by participants in Trail Day.


 The Festival Entry Fee will be £2, with Entry forms available from 1 June from local outlets. 

The Council welcomed the assistance of Seaton Schools’ pupils in designing an advertising poster, using a blank Festival Scarecrow logo, which could be coloured & information added to the design, with prizes for the best in each year group, best in each school & best overall.  The following were selected as the winners for each year group:
